The purpose of these groups is to give teenagers another avenue to create connections with solid adults from the congregation.  Teenagers are experiencing all kinds of hard things as they go through high school and the more solid adults they have to lean on the better.  There are many adults in the congregation that have much to share with students but don’t feel they have what it takes to work with teenagers.  Our goal is to connect adults who are passionate about a specific area of life,( e.g. Art, Cars, Music, Cooking)and  partner them with one of our established youth leaders in spending an evening with a small group of teenagers around that area of life.  Showing /teaching the teenagers about that area of life while expanding their support network.
