Located at the Dimond Mall in Anchorage, Parachutes is a drop-in center for teens, ages thirteen to eighteen. Parachutes has various activities such as video games, pool, computers ping-pong, a small café, special events and most importantly- caring adult volunteers who want to share their lives with teens.

Love INC. in Anchorage:

The church doorstep is a frequent destination for people in desperate need. But most churches cannot fully meet the needs of every homeless family, single mom or hungry child who asks them for help.  Or can they? Love INC. enables churches and ministries in a community to pool their resources and outreach services so that those in need are not turned away.

Anchorage Thanksgiving Blessing:

Thanksgiving Blessing is a collaboration of Food Bank of Alaska and the Anchorage faith community, which started in 2004  as a coordinated effort of Thanksgiving food distributions to make sure the most people get the food they need.

Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC):

CPC helps women (and their families) who are experiencing an unexpected pregnancy. CPC offers a confidential, caring, and non-judgmental place for women to make an informed decision about their pregnancy.

Gordon and Peggy Tans with World Renew:

A lawyer and a nurse retire, pack up their belongings, and follow God’s calling to serve as missionaries.

World Renew:

Focused on relief, development, and education, World Renew is a ministry of the Christian Reformed Church in North America that partners with local agencies that understand local needs and find ways to provide lasting change for people in more than 30 countries around the world.

Christian Reformed World Missions (CRWM):

Existing to glorify God by leading the CRC to respond obediently to our Lord’s commission to witness to the good news of God’s Kingdom and make disciples of all nations.

Christian Reformed Home Missions:

God has called Home Missions to play a key role in mission in North America–to assist the Christian Reformed Church in spreading the gospel of the kingdom in North America. Home Missions has organized its work into five areas that relate to this gospel witness:

• focuses churches on mission,
• helps plant new churches,
• assists campus ministries,
• trains mission leaders, and
• encourages small groups and prayer.
