Why adults go to playgroup
Playgroup can be a lifeline to parents with young children who might not have any other opportunity to get to know local parents in similar life stages. It can provide:
friendship in a relaxed, informal setting |
a sharing of resources and parenting ideas |
an opportunity to meet people with similar aged children |
a break from the normal daily routine |
Winter Playgroup
Each Tuesday during the winter, the Crosspoint auditorium is opened to a growing group of kids who run, play and burn off some energy while the parents watch and visit. Winter Playgroup will resume September 16, 2008.
